Classes

We offer private and semi-private Pilates lessons along with Mat and Equipment classes. Before beginning a group Pilates class, beginners are advised to take four or five private lessons to learn the fundamental movements. We recommend that clients with serious injuries remain in private instruction.Mat Class
A series of exercises performed on a mat, which strengthen the core muscles of the body, giving you strength and flexibilty at the same time. The Mat exercises are layered in as the body changes and progresses in the Pilates work. The exercises will tone your stomach, hips, buttocks and legs, improve your posture and give you long lean muscles.
Reformer Class
The Reformer classes allow you to learn the Pilates exercises on the Universal Reformer, the first piece of equipment Joseph Pilates designed to support the back while strengthening the body. The Reformer, like the Mat, strengthens the core muscles and also provides non-impact spring resistance to align and strengthen the body. The exercises will tone your stomach, hips, buttocks and legs, improve posture and give you long lean muscles.
Pole (Cadillac) Class
These exercises are based on spring resistance and are great for posture, opening the chest, shoulders and back and strengthening the abdominal and pelvic area. As with all Pilates work, you will strengthen and balance the body while you increase flexibilty.

Swedish/Therapeutic Massage
Swedish/Therapeutic Massage is excellent for promoting relaxation, relieving muscle tension, and decreasing stress related symptoms. This full body technique uses long strokes that glide along the length of the muscles to improve overall circulation and provide a feeling of well-being.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage focuses on releasing deep muscle tension in the body. Both muscle fibers and fascia are worked to release the body's holding patterns. In addition to relieving stress and promoting relaxation, deep tissue work is excellent for problems such as neck and back pain.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a light-touch, hands-on therapy performed while the client is fully clothed. In part because it is profoundly relaxing and de-stressing, it can enhance the functioning of the immune system, and many clients use it as a preventive or health-maintenance measure. Craniosacral Therapy can also address ongoing problems by releasing soft-tissue restrictions that inhibit muscles or physiological functions throughout the body.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy Massage is a specialized massage to counteract the altered biomechanics of pregnancy.
Reiki
Reiki is a system of balancing the life force energy -- the body, mind, and spirit. As an ancient oriental method of healing through the use of universal energy (called ki or chi), Reiki is used to strengthen the immune system, relieve pain, accelerate wound healing, relieve emotional stress, and can provide assistance both before and after medical procedures such as surgery. Wear loose fitting, cotton clothing to your Reiki session.
Jin Shin Do
Jin Shin Do: "The way of the compassionate spirit" is a form of Chinese Acupressure in which the practitioner holds specific points for an extended period of time to release blocked energy, or Chi, and balance the body. This treatment can create a deep healing on both the physical and emotional levels.
Shiatsu
Shiatsu balances the energy flow throughout the body to increase relaxation and energy levels. Based on the principles of Chinese acupuncture, Shiatsu uses hands instead of needles to create a healing pressure that balances the body, mind and spirit. Wear loose fitting, cotton clothing to your Shiatsu session.
La Stone Therapy
La Stone Therapy is an Ancient Healing modality combining the energy of the earth with the healing properties of water to reconnect and ground body, mind and spirit. The energy of the heated and cooled Basalt stones deeply penetrates the muscles to release stored tension and restore the natural flow of the body. In addition energy work and therapeutic massage are used to balance the chakras.
